JEAN V. McGONEGAL
of Perretton ( RR2 Pembroke ), passed away peacefully in Pembroke Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in her 91st year. Jean McGonegal, nee McLaughlin, beloved wife and life partner of the late Merril McGonegal for 72 ye ars. Dear mother of Sherry (Ron Gilchrist). Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and her special pet dog, Pena. Predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Beatty (Mary) McGonegal, her parents Herb (Ellen) McLaughlin and brother Delbert McLaughlin. Also survived by sisters-in-law Barb (Noble McGonegal), June (Darwin McGonegal) and Edna (Des McGonegal ). Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden, on Wednesday September 28. A Graveside Service will be held in Beachburg Union Cemetery on Thursday, September 29 at 2 p.m. Donations to St. Andrews United Church Lift Fund or Grace United Church Perretton Cemetery Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
