Melle du Haan passed away at the Ottawa Hospital-General Campus on Friday April 30, 2021, with his loving wife by his side in his 80th year.
Melle de Haan of Westmeath beloved husband of Eileen de Haan (nee Lalonde). Loved father of Debbie de Haan, and Heather Van Westerop. Loving grandfather of Michael and Christopher Van Westerop. Daer brother of Willy de Haan (Joan), Tinus de Haan (Jackie), Corny de Haan (Annette) and Renee de Haan. Brother-in-law to Joe Lalonde (Jocelyn), Elaine Lalonde (Pierre), Betty Ann Zulinski (Adam) and Doreen Lalonde (Len). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Friends were invited to share their memories of Melle with his family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home Pembroke on Monday 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Murphy Funeral Home Pembroke. A private family service was held at 3:00 p.m. followed by cremation.
In memory of Melle donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
