MYRLA ELAINE DIXON
Passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Sunday, July 23, 2017 a few months after her 90th birthday.
Myrla, of Pembroke, was the beloved wife of the late Art Dixon (2011). Dear mother of Pearl Dixon (Dr. Glenn Garneys), Peterborough and Dean Dixon (Lise), Orleans. Cherished grandmother to Ellen (Bryce Lowry), Winnipeg; Riley, Gatineau; Kyle, Orleans and Erica (Lucas McKinley), Toronto. She was the youngest daughter of Alex and Alma (nee Biesanthal) Zieroth. Predeceased by sisters, Veronica Heatherington and Naomi Baechler and nephew, Brian Heatherington. Aunt to Diane Cybulski, Haley’s Station. Confidante to Ross and Lila Peever and family; special friend of Milley and Emma. Thank you to Dr. John Beamish and the Palliative Care Ward at PRHC for their wonderful care.
Memorial visitation at the Malcolm, Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 7 to 9 pm. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke on Saturday, July 29 at 11 a.m. Internment in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
