Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at home, on Friday March 31, 2017 in his 79th year. Sam Best of Petawawa, beloved husband of Diane Best (nee Pybus). Loved and cherished father to Tonya (Aliza), Kingston; Samuel (Teri), Pembroke; Dianna-Lynn Best (T.J.), Westmeath; Wayne Wagner, Darryl Wagner and Clifford Reddick. Loving grandfather to Thomas, Samuel, Kohl, Kristyn, Karissa, Hannah, Melinda, Alexandra, Sophia and Elena and great-grandson Cameron. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Bertina, Cecil, Whoopie, Egbert, Vernie and Lionel and his parents Samuel and Alma (nee James) Best. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Sam’s Life will take place on Saturday, April 29, 2017 starting at 2 p.m. in the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 517, Petawawa, 3583 Petawawa Blvd, Petawawa.
