PEMBROKE — Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, assisted by The Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, have arrested and charged a Pembroke man following an Internet luring investigation.
On Friday, Aug. 26, members of the OPP Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP Technological Crime Unit and the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Detachment arrested a 19 year old male for Luring a Child by Means of Telecommunication. As a result of this investigation information was recovered that involved a second female who is 16 years of age.
Calvin Kidd, 19 of Pembroke, is charged with two counts of Internet Luring, one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of making Child Pornography, and two counts of Breaching conditions on his bail (on previous charge).
The investigation is continuing.
