RENFREW COUNTY (Renfrew) — The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated 164 calls from service from Monday, March 23 to Sunday, March 29. There were six motor vehicle collisions and 13 traffic complaints.
Renfrew OPP officers investigated four domestic disputes during the past week. One female was charged with failure to comply with undertaking and two counts of failure to comply with release order. One male was charged with failure to comply with undertaking. One male was charged with assault, mischief under $5,000 and resisting arrest.

On March 25, PC Golds and PC O’Connor from the Renfrew OPP Detachment attended Stone Road, in the Township of Admaston-Bromley for a reported vehicle in the ditch with possible impaired driver. As a result of the investigation 23 year old Mackenzie Miller of Horton Township has been charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol, and fail to comply with probation order. She will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on June 3.
On March 25, officers from the Renfrew OPP Detachment were called to Bluff Point Rd, Greater Madawaska for a weapons call. As a result of the investigation 68 year old Rex Boulton of Greater Madawaska has been charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on June 3. PC O’Connor led the investigation.
On March 28, PC O’Dacre and PC Bochek from the Renfrew OPP Detachment were called to Lisgar Avenue in the Town of Renfrew for a traffic complaint involving two vehicles. Both vehicles were pulled over by police and as a result of the investigation 43 year old Paula Brown and 25 year old Katrina Pressey of Renfrew have been charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol.
