RENFREW COUNTY (Pembroke) — On Thursday March 5, officers from the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision that took place at approximately 1:00 p.m. in a parking lot in the 200 block of Joseph Street in the City of Pembroke.
The collision involved a pickup truck and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, Elizabeth Berrigan age 85 of Pembroke, died at the scene as a result of injuries suffered in the collision.. The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured. The investigation by members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP is continuing, with the assistance of OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) members.
