Queens Line farmer Tim Tabbert (driving the tractor with the corn planter) and nephew Jay McLaughlin were busy last weekend finishing up spring planting. Yes, it’s that time of year. Well, actually, it’s almost done, since it started early — farmers have been, and continue to be, busy in their fields, plowing, discing, sowing and whatever else needs to be done to ensure a good, fall harvest. Next…it’s haying season.
