OTTER LAKE, Quebec — Members of the 1st Cobden Beavers, Cubs and Scouts attended their year-end all-sections camp at Otter Lake Scout Camp, in Otter Lake, Quebec.

Much fun was had by all. Some of the activities the youth got to experience included shelter building, canoeing, raft building, swimming, fishing and tye-dyeing.

The year end camp marks the end of regular meetings, but that doesn’t mean the fun ends. The 1st Cobden will still be holding some events and get togethers over the summer.

For those interested in joining in on the fun that Scouts has to offer, go to myscouts.ca and use the find a group link to locate the group nearest you and register your youth. Early registration, reduced rate of $200, ends June 30th. The cost of registration increases to $230 on Canada Day.

Contact Scouter Stacey if you have any questions, [email protected], regarding local beavers, cubs or scouts.
