Names and labels are everything. Just look at what changed Las Vegas. While always popular, Vegas boomed because some smart wordsmith substituted a positive name gaming for the negative word gambling. That needs to happen in politics. To me, the vast majority of our politicians (negative word) are truly patriots (positive). There is no doubt in my mind that Jim Labow, Joey Trimm and Don Rathwell are patriots. They have served us to the best of their ability for many, many years. They campaigned hard and came up short but are still winners to me. They have made our region a better place and I thank them for their service. Well done, gentlemen!
