PEMBROKE – Amongst donors, partners, and shoppers, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation launched the “Health & Home Lottery” from Blok Pools & Hot Tubs with over $82,000 in prize packages to be won by 10 lucky people.
The Pembroke Regional Hospital Health & Home Lottery is the second charitable lottery in support of advancing care at the regional hospital. With the potential to raise between $200,000 and $300,000, the proceeds from the lottery will be used for the critical projects, such as the purchase of new heart monitors, in addition to supporting the MRI Image Matters campaign.
“This lottery is very special because of the 25 local donors and businesses that have joined together to make it happen,” shared Nancy Warren, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. “Not only does it showcase the dedication and heart of businesses and individuals throughout the Valley, but it gives people an opportunity to participate and a chance to win some pretty substantial prizes! The Pembroke Regional Hospital Health & Home Lottery is helping our Regional Hospital provide comprehensive health care, closer to home.”
As an incentive, a $5,555.55 Early Bird Prize will be drawn on October 29 at 6 p.m. at the Best Western Pembroke Inn. The deadline to purchase and qualify for Early Bird tickets is October 19. The nine other prize packages will be drawn on January 29th, 2016 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital.
