At the Pembroke Regional Hospital with his loving family by his side on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Raymond Gilchrist of Lapasse, beloved husband of Marie Gilchrist (nee Lachance). Loved father of Lavanna Ladouceur (Denis) of Stewartville. Dear brother of Ronald (Sherry) Gilchrist, Jim (Helen) Gilchrist, John (June) Gilchrist, Richard (Noreen) Gilchrist, Connie (Larry) Lacroix, Pam (Terry) Yashinskie, Stephen (Cathy) Gilchrist, Kevin (Val) Gilchrist, Susan (David) Lessard, Jane (Kenny) Latendresse and Cindy (Dave) LaRiviere. Dear son of the late Jack and Vivian (nee Ethier) Gilchrist. Son-in-law of the late Armadose and Rita (nee Lamarche) Lachance. Brother-in-law of Liette Fletcher (late Jim Ryan), Petawawa, Annette Gervais (Harry), Yvette Deschamps (Frank), Mona Lacroix (Ralph), Rene Lachance, and Lise Lachance (Leo Herman) all of Lapasse, and Huguette Lachance (late Leo) and the late Aline. Raymond will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends are invited to share their memories of Raymond with his family during memorial visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Sunday 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning November 16 at 11 o’clock in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church Lapasse.
