Renfrew Detachment of the OPP investigated 223 calls for service.
Domestic Violence
Arnprior and Renfrew officers investigated 10 domestic disputes during the past week.
• One male was charged with assault,
• One female was charged with failing to comply with conditions of undertaking,
• One female was charged with mischief,
• One male was charged with uttering threats.

Drug Charges
On Friday, March 29, officers with the Renfrew Detachment investigated a traffic hazard call in Renfrew. As a result of the investigation Kyle Gilmore, 40 years old of Renfrew, has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a schedule one substance.  He was released on a promise to appear on Wednesday, May 1, at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew.
Impaired Driving
On Saturday, March 30, an officer with the Renfrew Detachment responded to a suspicious vehicle call in Admaston/Bromley Township.  As a result of the investigation Danielle Weeden, 49 years old of Renfrew, has been charged with impaired driving and driving with over 80mg. She was released on a promise to appear on Wednesday, April 17 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew.
Break and Enter
Officers with the Renfrew Detachment are investigating a break and enter to a residence on Daniel Street North in Arnprior. This incident was reported on Wednesday, March 27. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Renfrew OPP.
Theft
On Thursday, March 28, an officer with the Renfrew OPP detachment responded to a theft call from a business in Arnprior. One male party had left the business with a quantity of alcohol. The officer located the male and as a result a 17-year-old male has been charged with theft under $5000. The male was released on an appearance notice.
Traffic Enforcement
On Wednesday, March 27, an officer with the Renfrew OPP was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 17 in Horton Township. As a result of a traffic stop Jeremy Cecil, 43 years old of Carrollton, Texas, was issued a summons for race a motor vehicle, excessive speed and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Friday, May 10.
Also on that date, an officer was conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 17 in Whitewater Township. As a result of a traffic stop Craig Oattes, 66 years old of Whitewater Township, was issued a summons for driving under suspension and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Friday, May 10.
On Friday, March 29, an officer was conducting traffic enforcement in McNab/Braeside Township. As a result of a traffic stop Brent Cole, 34 years old of Beckwith Township, was issued a summons for driving while under suspension and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Renfrew on Friday, May 10.
