PEMBROKE — During the Dec. 3 board meeting the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) ratified local, collective bargaining agreements with Secondary Office Managers and Early Childhood Educators.
Both employee groups are members of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation support staff.
“We now have local settlements with about half of our employee groups,” RCDSB Chair Dave Shields said. “We value the work our office managers and early childhood educators do and are pleased to see these agreements. We look forward to completing this round of bargaining with the remaining employee groups.”
Both the office managers and the early childhood educators have tentative, central settlements, but those agreements have not been voted on or ratified yet. The central agreement must be voted and ratified on or before Dec. 16.
