The Council heard a motion to allow Earth’s Edge Incorporated to redevelop Cemetery Road as part of a drop-off position, as part of the industrial park.
CAO Burton said the applicant wanted to build a ‘superstructure’ where people “bring in materials, drop it, and leave.”
He said he thought that the anticipated construction was this year.
He said that Lane Cleroux and he would investigate in the weeks if the application was approved, which he said ‘staff’
Deputy Mayor Regier asked “how many this could employ?”, which Burton said he would ask about.
Mayor Nicholson said it was where ‘we transfer our electronic waste’.
The motion was passed.
