A soil professional is coming to talk at the annual general meeting of the Renfrew County National Farmers Union.
The event is 7:30 p.m. at the Cobden Civitan Hall on Friday, Feb. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
Angela Straathof, Soil Quality Specialist, Ph.D. Candidate
Wageningen University and Research Centre, The Netherlands, is the guest speaker.Ms. Straathof grew up on a farm in Arnprior.
Following Ms. Straathof’s talk, which will include a question and answer period, there will be a short business meeting to elect this year’s executive.
Everyone is invited to attend the event, refreshments will be served.
