WHITEWATER REGION — Frances Dagenais celebrated her birthday this month and turned 85 years old. Her six children, 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren hosted a surprise party in her honour.
They asked, “But what to give a woman who already has everything including the love of her family and friends?” The decision was easy.
Frances has selflessly dedicated her life to making the world a better place through her many years of volunteer work. All the party guests were invited to make a donation to the St Joseph’s Food Bank, which Frances has worked with and supported for 30 years. A total of $2,145 in donations was collected.
