WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — Running for over a decade, Taste of the Valley (TOV) is coming to Cobden for it’s last celebration of 2019 this Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cobden Fairgrounds. This popular event is part of a series, with the first TOV held in Barry’s Bay back in August. It’s original concept was to promote and support local food producers in the Ottawa Valley.
The events have evolved over the years and now focus on taste as a celebration of local food, art, culture and products. They are an unique showcase for introducing people to the variety of rural communities within the Valley.
Public admission will be free on Saturday and the event will be held both indoors and outdoors. An on-site bank machine will be available. The Cobden event was organized by the Cobden Farmer’s Market and Taste of the Valley.
