After two years of closure, the Whitewater Historical Society is very happy we were able to open for 2022
But we couldn’t have done it without the many volunteers who chipped in and helped prepare the buildings for visitors and tours.
We would like to thank the following:

Sheila Broome, Wendy Johnson and Lenore Haycock for cleaning the Ross House
Lenore Haycock for care and display of the Quilts at St Aidan’s church
Wilson, Ian, Leighton,Nolan Rae, and Larry Broome for new railings beside the garden steps
Wilson Rae and Lenore Haycock for opening the Drive Shed and Larry Broome for trimming the doors for easier access

Thank you to those who donated plants and baked goods for our Plant Sale
A special thank you to Evelyn St. Amour who tirelessly continues to solicit new members at fairs and public events.
A BIG THANK YOU to our Donors who have given artifacts over the years to make our collection of over 2000 items a remarkable one. We are always happy to accept donations that pre-date 1960 and vintage books to add to our collection.
We hope you can come and visit Ross Museum this summer, open from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Closed Mondays. Clark Burger is this summer’s guide and he’s happy to take you on an interesting tour of our buildings.
Clark has also organized a special musical event coming Thursday, August 18th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Ross Museum. “The Ross Rhythm” is an outdoor event celebrating local talent. Bring your lawn chair, relax and enjoy an evening of music.
