Dear Editor:
When I look at the successes and the failures of the existing Mayor and Council of Whitewater Region I have to be honest with myself.
Do we really want the same group running rough-shod over spending of our tax dollars the way this council has?
Would they spend $20,000 of their own money on lawyers to collect $4 from someone? I suspect the answer is no, but they felt it okay to waste our money to collect a $4 dog tag.
The other fiasco is the new Cobden Effluent treatment plant. The way that’s been handled is nothing short of total disregard for the residents of Cobden.
I urge everyone to vote and keep these issues in mind.
