PEMBROKE — TransCanada recently made a $10,000 donation to the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation’s Cutting Edge Campaign.

“We are committed to supporting the communities where we live and work,” said Carl Ranger of TransCanada. “Donating to the Cutting Edge Campaign helps ensure the well being of our employees, their friends and families, and strengthens us all.”

In 2016, TransCanada, an energy company, invested more than $16.8 million in more than 1,200 non-profit organizations across North America. TransCanada has also contributed towards the Pembroke Regional Hospital’s building expansion and helped bring home the region’s first MRI.

“The Foundation is incredibly grateful for TransCanada’s continued support for our region’s health care,” stated PRHF Executive Director, Nancy Warren. “We live in such a strong and vibrant community, made possible by the compassionate generosity of our donors and supporters, like TransCanada.”
