WHITEWATER REGION – Two Township of Whitewater Region residents charged with several offences by the OPP.
On Friday, September 30, members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, with the assistance of OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the Township of Whitewater Region.
Tammy Lyn Ethier, 33, is charged with the following CDSA offences:
Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana
Possession of Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana
Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
She was also charged under the Tobacco Tax Act (TTA) with Possession of Unmarked Tobacco.
Ms. Ethier was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Tuesday, October 25.
Edward Fox, 52, is charged with Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana under the CDSA.
Mr. Fox was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until his next appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Tuesday, October 18.
