Two young men charged under the Liquor Licence Act by Renfrew OPP officers

A 17-year-old and a 20-year-old were charged under the Liquor Licence Act by officers from the Renfrew Detachment of the OPP.

One male was charged for being intoxicated in a public place after police responded to a disturbance at the Antrim Truck Stop on Saturday, December 8 at 1:40 a.m.

PC Troy Dobbie led the investigation and charged Brady Leckie, aged 20 of Arnprior. He was issued a provincial offence notice.

On Sunday, December 9 at 12:20 a.m., PC Lindsey Moore was on patrol when she observed a vehicle idling on Bonnechere Street N in Renfrew.

She spoke with the driver and determined the G1 driver had been drinking. Following breath tests at the detachment, Everett Fraser, aged 17 of Horton Township, was issued a provincial offence notice for having a BAC above 0.
