For individuals, the payment date or 2019 tax year is September 1 and includes the June 15 instalment payment for those who have to pay by instalments.
The date for corporations applies to those who would otherwise have a filing due date after March 18 and before June 1. The payment date for the current tax year is September 1 and applies to balances and instalments under part one of the Income Tax Act, due on or after March 18 and before September 1.
The filing date for the 2019 tax year for self-employed and their spouse or common law partner is Sunday, June 15. The payment date for 2019 tax year is September 1 and includes the June 15 instalment payment for those who have to pay by instalments.
The filing date for charities is December 31 and applies to charities with form T3010 due between March 18 and December 31.
