The Council of Whitewater heard a proposal to approve a loan to the Westmeath Arena ramp project.
Crozier reported that there were some change orders with the ramp at Westmeath’s arena ramp.
The council originally contributed 65,000, and a grant from the Ontario Trillum Foundation.
They ran into complications at 63,000 for the changes.
One part of the proposal was a temporary loan until the Arena committee got their HST report, which was delayed.
Councillor Jackson asked if they could take the loan out of the surplus in reserves.
Crozier said he had arranged it to balance out like that.
The motion was carried.
