WESTMEATH – The WDRA held the third annual tree-lighting ceremony for the tree outside of the Westmeath Community Center on December 12th, despite light rain and fog.
Organizer Lorraine Lynch, Mayor Mike Moore and Councillor Neil Nicholson spoke for a crowd of 70 people, mostly in vehicles to maintain social distance and shelter, Along with Pastor Anita Walling to lead in prayer.
Lorraine Lynch, organizer for the tree lighting, said the ceremony the ceremony went well. ”We had some glitches, but it turned out fine.” she said.
