Whitewater Gardeners have a great program planned for the summer as decided on May 7th:
Four different garden tours, a bus tour to a perennial Nursery with a visit to Waba Cottage museum and gardens in White Lake with Lunch afterwards. For the fall, a flower and vegetable show and a harvest auction with all kinds of fall produce to buy.
All members of Whitewater Gardeners should renew their memberships at our plant Sale May 28th at the Cobden Farmers Market. New members are welcome to join. To go on tours with the group one must be a member to have insurance that is in place with the Ontario Horticultural Association.
New members will have the knowledge of experienced gardeners to help with your own gardens. This group has been in place for 64 years so many members have a wealth of gardening experience that all are willing to share. Memberships are a bargain at 10 $ for a single and 15$ for a family.
