Several charges have been laid against a 55-year-old Township of Whitewater Region man after police responded to a domestic dispute on Saturday, November 28.
According to the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP, the investigation resulted in charges of forcible confinement, three counts uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and three counts of cruelty to animals.
The man was released on bail and will appear in Pembroke court on Tuesday, December 15. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
