Reeve Regier announced that the Township of Whitewater region received formal notice that road staff members and CUPE local 4353 members decided to decertify, with more fifty percent votes to disband the union.
She said that the CAO’s office was working to integrate the twelve positions into the salary grid.
“We’re doing our due diligence in incorporating them into the salary grid.” CAO Robert Trembley said. “We’re appreciative of the work of they do.”
