RENFREW COUNTY (Eganville) — On Saturday November 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Renfrew County Residents for Safe Technology (RC4ST) is hosting a free 5G technology information session at Eagles Nest in Eganville.
5G refers to fifth generation wireless technology; a millimetre wavelength technology which has never undergone any pre-market safety testing. Peer reviewed, published science overwhelmingly indicates that cumulative daily exposure to wireless frequencies causes harmful biological effects.
This group of dedicated and concerned citizens wants to bring awareness of and safety solutions to all residents and elected officials in Renfrew County about the potential implications of rolling out 5G technology.
Three renowned and respected speakers will be present for a panel discussion, followed by a question period:
Frank Clegg, CEO of Canadians for Safe Technology (C4ST), is heading Canada’s leading-edge public health education team on the potential risk of wireless devices and how to use them more safely. He has been a national leader in technology and child safety for decades. Throughout his career as President of Microsoft Canada, he championed parental controls over the emerging internet so that parents and teachers could censor materials deemed inappropriate for young children.
Doctor Anthony Miller, Professor Emeritus (University of Toronto) and adviser to the World Health Organization will speak on Radio Frequency Radiation (RFR), cancer-related to exposure to wireless technology and classifying electromagnetic fields (EMF) as a known carcinogen. Miller and his coauthors state evidence is, “strong enough to go from precaution concerning possible risk to prevention of known risks.”
Ms. Sheena Symington, Director at the Electrosensitive Society, will discuss harm reduction and solutions to better your electromagnetic hygiene. She has a background in biological and environmental sciences and has worked on both chemical and electromagnetic pollutants and their effects on people and other species.
