The Grade 6 DARE graduates at Cobden District Public School celebrated with a ceremony Monday afternoon, June 19. Const. Janice Sawbridge of the Renfrew Detachment of the OPP lead the 10-week class and it was sponsored by the Cobden and District Civitan Club. DARE helps to teach young people how to deal with peer pressure regarding drugs, alcohol and participating in criminal acts. “It’s an educational program to help students resist peer pressure,” Const.
