OTTAWA — The OPP Uniform Recruitment Unit is hiring frontline Police Constables. To attract the most competitive and diverse applicants, East Region Uniform Recruiters will host a one-day policing symposium on Saturday, September 22nd, at La Cité collégiale in Ottawa.
The focus of this event is on women. This event will include an overview of the OPP Constable hiring process, mentoring by OPP officers and civilians and discussions about fitness, wellness, and work-life balance.
“This is an opportunity for women to learn about the opportunities within the OPP and to ask questions about all aspects and challenges of the job”, said Recruitment Sergeant Sylvain Archambeault.
Applicants must meet all of the requirements. The deadline for applications to be submitted by email has been extended until 4 p.m. on Monday, September 10.
Late submissions will not be considered and exceptions will not be made for those who do not meet the minimum requirements.
