PEMBROKE – The Cutting Edge Campaign received a $42,000 boost following the telethon hosted by the campaign and Pembroke’s 104.9 myFM.

The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation Cutting Edge Campaign is raising funds for an upgrade to the surgical floor at Pembroke Regional Hospital. Hosted at the Pembroke Mall on Saturday, March 2, total funds raised this year exceeded $42,000, a new 1-day record for the event!

“We are so fortunate to live in such a wonderful community and have such great support,” said Marc Poirier, myFM general sales manager. “Thank you to myFM.  We could not have done it without an amazing community. It’s amazing how much support you’ve given us and we’re so thankful!”

Nancy Warren, the foundation’s executive director, said tickets for the raffle prizes are still available at the mall until March 27th.  She expects there to be about $50,000 raised after everything is said and done.

You can still donate through an online option that is available at prhfoundation.com
