Local Olympian Melissa Bishop and husband Osi Niragu announced a week ago on social media they are expecting their first child at the end of June. As for a boy or girl, Melissa says it’ll be as much a surprise for them as everyone else. Melissa and Osi married at Thanksgiving. In other family news, her brother Jonathan and longtime girlfriend Courtney Wiebe of Eganville are also expecting a child around the same time. Melissa and Jonathan are the children of Alison and Doug Bishop of Lake Dore and the grandchildren of Tory Hawkins of Cobden. PHoto from facebook.
