Break in at Cobden public school

WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden) — A male is facing charges following a break-in at Cobden District Public School in the early morning of Sunday, Feb. 4.
Officers with the Renfrew Detachment of the OPP responded to the alarm at the school at 12:46 a.m.
Upon arrival, they discovered the suspect had forced open a window and entered the school.
Physical evidence and video surveillance assisted with the investigation.
PC Patrick O’Connor is continuing to investigate, and charges are pending.
