The dining hall at the Beachburg fairgrounds is being resurrected. The original building, which was constructed sometime in the mid-1920s, was torn due to it just being worn out, noted Adrian Vereyken, president of the Beachburg Agricultural Society. This large post and beam building is being constructed by Vereyken Homes. The money used was generated by previous fairs and each year a project is chosen to be done, he said. This year, it was fixing up the exhibit hall and rebuilding the dining hall. “We want to enhance the fair grounds,” Mr. Vereyken said. The pine was donated by local people. It will be ready by fair time, which is July 25, 26 and 27.
