The Council of the Township of Whitewater Region adopted the Active Transportation Plan prepared by WSP as a guiding document to support active transportation in Whitewater Region, subject to annual budget approval and periodic updates as a living document.
CAO Trembley said that this was a ‘living document’ and that there were a lot of active transportation-related projects this year, and that the dates and details will likely change.
“It brings everything out in the open.” Mayor Moore said about the plan. “Every area has their own trails, and it’s nice to have it all together.”
There were no questions, and the motion was carried.
