An investigation into a single-vehicle accident on LaPasse Road is continuing. Const. Sean Peever from the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP detachment said a woman was air-lifted to an Ottawa hospital following the accident, which occurred about 3:45 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14. The air ambulance was notified and the helicopter landed on Beachburg Road near the intersection with Foresters Falls Road about 4:20 p.m. Sixty-two-year-old Pembroke resident Debra Gagnon suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Const. Peever said the vehicle went into a ditch, flipped and ended up on a private residential lawn. No charges have been laid, but the investigation continues.
