It is with saddened hearts the family of Anita Denise Hubert (nee Ezeard) announce her sudden passing peacefully in her home with her husband at her side at the age of 52 on March 13. Denise loved to be social and she showed it with her occupations, from waitressing to volunteering her time with Carefor. Survived by her loving husband Karl Hubert, daughters Santana Kuehl and Tory Hubert (Graham), son in-law Jeremy Kuehl, parents Catherine Scanes (mother), Andy Scanes (step-father), Doug Ezeard (father) and Darlene Ezeard (step-mother), parents in-law Heather and DJ Bolger, and Max Hubert. Loving sister to Shelley McQuirter (Bob McQuirter), Tamela Kennedy and Heidi Scanes, brother-in-law to Barry Hubert. She will be missed by nieces and nephews Samantha Marleau, Taylor Hartwick, Tyler Hartwick, Jennifer McQuirter and Scott McQuirter. Predeceased by niece Paisley Scanes McLeod. Loving grandmother to Hank “Little Man” Kuehl. Denise will be missed by many cousins and friends. Honouring her wishes there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life on Saturday, April 18 from 11:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Santana’s house, located at 38516 Highway 41 in Pembroke, Ont. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation and to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind.
