Annual “Stuff a Cruiser” event on Saturday

RENFREW COUNTY (Pembroke) — On Saturday November 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Auxiliary Unit of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be holding their annual “Stuff a Cruiser” event to collect food and toys for those in need this holiday season. This will be the event’s twelfth year. 

Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP Auxiliary Unit will be on hand with police cruisers at the following locations:

  • Wal-Mart in Laurentian Valley Township,
  • Giant Tiger, No Frills and Metro in the City of Pembroke,
  • Independent Grocers in the Town of Petawawa.  

Food donations will go directly to the St. Joseph’s Food Bank and the Petawawa Pantry Food Bank. Toy donations will be forwarded to the Pembroke Kiwanis Club for distribution in our community.
