1922 – 2019
Arvilla Metcalfe, nee Howard, of Pembroke and formerly of Beachburg, passed away peacefully in Miramichi Lodge Pembroke, on Wednesday May 8, 2019 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Henry Metcalfe (1987). Dear mother of Howard (Sandra) Metcalfe and Heather (Brian Eichstaedt). Also survived by 6 grandchildren, Christina (Armour), Daniel (Tammy), Brad (Justyna), Ian (Melanie), Jane (Jason), Taylor (Thomas); 14 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Audrey Barr, Lorna Pappin and Shirley Buchanan. Friends called at St. Andrews United Church, Beachburg on Monday May 13 from 9:30 a.m. until service time in the church at 11a m. Interment Beachburg Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to St. Andrews United Church Memorial Fund or Miramichi Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated.
