It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the incredible matriarch of our family, Adriana (Audrey) de Ruiter in her 96th year on February 26, 2015. She will now go to the Lord and be with her late husband Teunis who passed away in 1986. An unbelievably loving, strong and hard working woman who was loved by everyone who knew her but especially her 10 children and their partners: Teuna Cotnam (Bill), Peter (Jo-Ann), Gert (Sandra), Audrey Best (Tom), Wilma (Jeremy), Harry (Louise), Mary Bolderheij, Nellie Bertrand (Johnny), Arnold (Jane) & Murray (Tara). Oma will be missed by her 21 grandchildren as well as her 21 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Colleen and Peter Valliant for being such exceptional neighbours.
