Graduation is an exciting time.  It’s both an ending and a beginning.  It’s warm memories of the past and the big dreams for the future. Thank you everyone for coming to our Beachburg Gr.8 graduation and sharing in our successes.
This year, and the years before, we have made many memories in elementary school, and I think each one of us is excited to make more memories in the upcoming years at high school. We have grown, not only in mind and body, but in heart and soul. In the years to come we will carry with us the memories we have made together, carry the knowledge that our kind teachers have given us, and the life lessons we have hopefully learned.
We would like to give a big thank you to the following people. Thank you.  Mrs. Wren for telling us when we needed to come down to the office and for keeping us in order. Thank you. Mr. Mike for cleaning up after all our little messes and for giving us the bucket to drown Taylor in for one of our plays. Thank you  Mrs. Jody for keeping us in line throughout the school year, especially when we have our ‘phones’ out.  And Mr. Joy your name represents you as who you are, purely a Joy to all you meet.
Thank you Mr. Schwan, I guess, for teaching us that “math is fun, fun is math,”. This is one of the wise quotes that he gives when someone complains about math, which happens to be quite frequently. Thank you for making this year an interesting year that we will remember for the rest of our life.
Thank you to all of the other teachers, staff, volunteers and everyone here that have helped us over the years.  We can’t thank you enough for everything you have all done for us and are going to do in the future.  Thank you for helping us go on the right direction.
Graduates, one quote that comes to mind about our future is, “Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of life, Tip toe if you must, but take that step.”
We have been given the direction by our parents, teachers and all those who care about us. Now we need to seize the opportunity, and tip toe or run into our future lives in high school and beyond.
A special thank you to all, and I wish the Graduates a heartfelt congratulations.
