Bells for Peace ring out in Cobden

A small group of people attended the Bells of Peace service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Cobden late Sunday afternoon. The bells in churches throughout Canada were to ring around 4:45 p.m. to mark the 100th anniversary of World War I Armistice. Emcee for the evening’s event was Theresa Narbonne.

Marie Zettler played the organ during the service.
Kent McLaughlin, retired military and president of the Royal Canadian Legion Cobden Branch 550, pulls the rope to ring the bell.
