WHITEWATER REGION — The Township of Whitewater Region has been busy thinking about a rockin’ good time for the second annual Whitewater Streetstrut, with the recent booking of Big Wreck.
Whitewater Streetstrut, a-not-so foreign event to the community, took place in its inaugural year in 2017. With the support of the current elected council, the township has brought back the event for the second straight year with an emphasis on engaging another big headliner.
The event, which takes place on Saturday, July 14, will feature family entertainment and music free of charge from 1 to 5 p.m., before transforming Main Street into a concert venue for the headliner, Big Wreck. Local bands will open before the headliner hits the stage. Doors open at 7 p.m.
The event will be hosted on County Road 8 between John and Crawford Streets.
