RENFREW COUNTY (Renfrew) — Looking to start your Christmas shopping early or to pick up that perfect gift for someone special in your life or, better yet – a gift for yourself to take that ‘bucket list trip’?
The Bonnechere Manor Foundation has teamed up with Marlin Travel to sell tickets for a $5,000 travel voucher to be used for ANY destination or cruise. Tickets are only $10, and can be purchased at the front desk at Bonnechere Manor during regular business hours, Aikenhead’s Pharmacy or Marlin Travel in Renfrew. The draw will be held in January 2020.
Mayor Michael Donohue, Chair of the County of Renfrew Health Committee that governs the Home, buys a ticket from Shelley Sheedy, Director of Long-Term Care and said, “kudos to the Bonnechere Manor Foundation for coming up with this great fundraising idea that will be sure to help the Manor on its journey to become an accredited “Butterfly Model Home.”
Chair of the Foundation Don Goulet notes that it was important for the Foundation to come up with a fundraiser at a price point that would allow most people to support the Home, “Bonnechere Manor has provided quality long-term care serving countless residents and their families for more than 61 years and also provided good employment to many of our families, friends and neighbours.”
