BEACHBURG — Brenda Powers-Ross has accepted the position of Director of Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre – a part of Lanark Renfrew Health & Community Services (LRHCS).
Lanark Renfrew Health & Community Services is an umbrella organization created through the on-going integration of three “Parts” – Lanark Community Programs, North Lanark Community Health Centre and the Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre. While each “Part” of LRHCS has its own geographic catchment areas and histories, all “Parts” are governed by one community-based Board of Directors and are guided by a core set of strategic priorities, policies and procedures.
Ms. Powers-Ross is well regarded within the Whitewater Region as a community member and for her many years of work and service in the health sector. She has held positions including Nursing Supervisor at Bonnechere Manor, Pharmacy Operation and Nurse Manager for Whitewater Medical Group – the precursor to the Whitewater Bromley “Nurse Practitioner Initiative” in Beachburg and Cobden which, in time, became the Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre.
Within the Whitewater Bromley Community Health Centre and across Lanark Renfrew Health & Community Services, Ms. Powers-Ross has distinguished herself as a fair, firm and hard-working team member and leader – one who keeps the interests of clients and community members front and centre.
In her most recent role as Project Manager – Operations & Systems Development for Lanark Renfrew Health & Community Services, Ms. Powers-Ross has used her background in Health Services Administration, Human Resource Management and Lean Health Care, (among many other executive development courses) to find efficiencies and improve processes between support staff and providers – resulting in better client care at both the North Lanark CHC and the Whitewater Bromley CHC.
Ms. Powers-Ross contact information is email via [email protected] or call 613-582-3785 ext. 1241.
