CARL EMERSON GILCHRIST
of Cobden, passed away peacefully in Pembroke Regional Hospital on Saturday, February 27, 2016 in his 86th year. Carl Gilchrist, beloved husband of Lois Gilchrist, nee Deschamps. Dear father of Fay Woodward (Elroy Sack), Donna Gilchrist (Robert Johnston), Heather (Kevin Ramsbottom), Lianne (Richard Bedard), and Connie Bettinger (Dan Toll). Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Nina Last and Evelyn Gilchrist. Friends called at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home, Cobden, on Wednesday March 2. Service is in Zion United Church, Douglas, today (Thursday, March 3), at 2 p.m. Spring Interment Cobden Union Cemetery.
