CAT vandalized in Cobden is Crime of the Week

WHITEWATER REGION (Cobden)Crime Stoppers and the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are looking for information on the person or persons responsible for damage to heavy equipment in the Cobden area of Whitewater Region Township.

A CAT excavator was damaged at a job site on Astrolabe Road overnight between May 31and June 1.

The front windshield of the excavator had been smashed out along with some of the machine’s lights. Again, the same machine was vandalized overnight Monday, June 4 to Tuesday, June 5. A fire extinguisher was set off inside the cab and further damage was done to the excavator windows.
