The St Andrew’s Art Group, headquartered at St Andrew’s United Church in Beachburg, is hosting art show and sale on March 15, 2015.
This endeavor is aimed at celebrating local artists and providing a community service by donating all sale proceeds to the Bernadette McCann House in Pembroke. This organization provides services to abused women and children throughout Renfrew County.
The members are appealing to folks to consider donating pieces of art that they are willing to move on. It may be a painting, sculpture/carving, needlepoint piece etc. Many people have such things they have grown tired of stored in basements, attics or closets that may have appeal to others.
We are also canvassing local artists to consider offering one of their own pieces for this very worthwhile cause. Should anyone have a piece that they consider too significant to just “give away” we will accept such works on a consignment basis.
More information will published closer to the date but we are hoping to have a fun day and highlight the talents of Whitewater Region and the whole of the North Valley.
